Come to find out they do not hold the note on my loan, they are nothing but a collection company/. They wanted to charge me $15 for the verification, so I said I'd check on whether that was legal and call back.. In the meantime since you practically have to give blood every time you call, I asked who I needed to talk to get my interest rate lowered;. She said, well I would need to call Quicken Loans|. Needless to say I was getting confused;. So I said, oh, so you guys don't actually carry the paper on my loan and she said that my loan is actually held by Fannie Mae;. They "Partner" with Quicken Loans to do loan modifications because they only "Service" Loans|.
So, all you out there that aren't getting anywhere trying to modify your loan with them, call Quicken Loans and give them the LBPS loan number. Drink plenty of Orange Juice though cause you'll probably be giving at least a pint of blood, and when you start getting frustrated, remember Fannie Mae is government owned, so welcome to the politico of the new socialist state. On top of that, if you get foreclosed on, it's the same people that are telling you to go get a modification. Makes so much more sense now..............NOT!!!!! 127b25a

| 1. Written by Dwight on February 8, 2012 from orlando, florida, US Chase sold my mortgage to LBPS then LBPS gave it to SETERUS. Under LBPS i wanted to do a modification because I am upside down on my loan. While with LBPS they reccommended I contact Quicken Loans. Quicken Loans said I needed an appraisal which cost me $400.00. I was denied and down the tube went my $400. I think they are all part of the same scheme. If i don't get a Modification I will be forced to walk away from my home and let them or whoever have this home, Dwight. |

Written by Tiff on October 7, 2011 from arlington, virginia, US MET Life sold my loan to them also and just a hint dont change your home owner insurance...they really mess that up , six months later i am still trying to get them to cancel the policy they took out because they could not get the paper work straight and pay my insurance company |

Mean while, bastards like Chase makes you believe they have sold our home loan to scum bags like LPBS, make the homeowner believe you can re finance the interest rate with someone that has no interest what so ever to help you out to then take you to court in foreclosure....thanks a lot US Government for protecting the citizens who elect you in office to supposedly look out for our best interest when in reality all you want to do is fill your own pockets with the money they still from the hard working Americans |
| 5. Written by Beth on May 18, 2011 from jacksonville, florida, US Chase bank also sold my loan in Oct. 2010 to LBPS in the middle of thrying to modify. However, I recieved papers from a knock on the door that gave me a date for the court hearing. (never came to fruition because it had been sold to LBPS by that time). My question is this...Was Chase allowed to collect mortgage payments while foreclosure proceedings are in effect? LBPS sent back my payment, saying it was illegal to collect pmt when foreclosure is in progress. I'M SO CONFUSED! |
| 6. Written by MP on April 9, 2011 from kalamazoo, michigan, US LBPS is a piece of crap. When Met Life sold our loan to them they jacked up our payment $30 a month to "cushion" our escrow. That in turned caused us to fall behind in our payments and now they are charging us $15 a month for "property inspections". I inquired on what property inspection was done and was told that they do a drive-by to make sure the property is still occupied when you are 35 or more days late. Even though we were making payments, they are charging us for at least 5 times. I am going to call back and request proof. This company is a piece of crap and need to be shut down. what a scam. I especially like reviewing all my info everytime I call! irritating! |

| 9. Written by T.G. on January 3, 2011 from mt. laurel, new jersey, US Lbps took over my loan from chase and right away they want an extra $65 for my escrow "just in case" something were to happen,I had my loan with chase for 2 yrs and my initial loan was with gmac,2 of the biggest mortgage institutions in the world, but according to lbps "Chase" nor "GMAC" were taking enough out. Really! When i called LBPS to get this figured out the rep. TORY PETTIFORE, HAD NO IDEA WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT, I am a licensed realator in Pa. and a finance mgr for a VERY LARGE family of auto dealerships, and caught him out there trying to lie to me about numbers, regulations and loan parameters to the point that he said he would fax me my loan agreement (a way to get me off the phone) also he tried to tell me i have to pay pmi til 2021, the total yrly equals 1% of my total loan amt,1% is generally associated with "points" am i paying points on my pmi,I have a very disheartening feeling with this company, shades of Washington Mutual |
